Meg Rosenthal

Editorial Architect

Meg Rosenthal grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, and graduated from Queens University of Charlotte with a bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing. When she’s not moonlighting as a novelist (The Right Words, 2022 and The Wingman, 2025), Meg can be found working her day-job as a professional horseback rider and trainer. Meg also loves painting, her cats, the color pink, and preaching the importance of commas.

Meg’s education includes a major in creative writing and a minor in professional writing and rhetoric. She has experience in contract writing and review, beta reading, tutoring essay writing, manuscript editing, and literary magazine editing.

While the credentials of qualification are important and cool, her real reason for helping you is that she loves fiction. She loves living in the world of character arcs, plot structures, and nitty gritty grammar details. Above all, she loves discovering worlds created by new writer friends (indie or otherwise) and helping them develop their vision to its fullest potential.

The Team

Lanie Hitt is a Charlotte-based book lover who always has a novel within arm's reach. With a heart for romance, thrillers, and fantasy, she believes there's nothing better than a story to get lost in. She works alongside authors to help their books find the readers already waiting for them. Through social media support, publicity, bookstore and media outreach, and event planning, she takes the stress out of marketing, so authors can focus on writing.

When she's not reading or working behind the scenes, you'll find her with a coffee in hand, at a live show, shopping small and local, hanging with friends and her dog, trying new things for fun, and cheering on the Carolina Panthers and Hurricanes, Charlotte Checkers, and St. Louis Blues. She's also a fall enthusiast through and through—cozy sweaters, hot drinks, and a good book are her happy place.
